Join us on a Sea Expedition 🌊
During the trip, one of our storytellers will share fun and surprising tales about what we sail past and convey knowledge through quizzes. With binoculars around your neck, you can explore with your eyes, and perhaps you’ll be the one to spot seals or other animals along the way. The captain also invites you into the wheelhouse, where you can get a glimpse of the navigation equipment.

Or come along on a Fishing Trip 🎣
Have you ever caught a fish? Now’s your chance! We provide fishing rods and fishing licenses and help untangle lines when they get knotted. If you catch something sustainable, you’ll naturally take your catch home to impress your family or dinner guests. There will also be an opportunity to dissect the fish on board, so we can all learn a bit about what mackerel eat and what their hearts look like.

Get to know fascinating birds! 🦉
During the summer vacation, we are visited by falconer Mark Emil – also known as BirdNerd – who will bring along owl Atlas and vulture Mali, among others. These birds have been environmentally trained at Den Blå Planet since they were about five weeks old, to acclimate to their surroundings, and later they underwent flight training. Now, these young birds are ready to demonstrate their flying skills on selected days during the summer vacation at The Wild Water Hole. The bird show lasts approximately 30 minutes, during which BirdNerd will enlighten you about birds of prey and owls.

Photo Exhibition: Underwater Photographer of the Year 2024 📷
We are repeating last year’s success by showcasing the best photographs of the year from a magical world beneath the surface.
Explore over 50 selected works captured by the world’s most talented underwater photographers. Den Blå Planet, National Aquarium Denmark is the only place in Scandinavia where you can experience the spectacular photo exhibition Underwater Photographer of the Year.
You can find the exhibition throughout Den Blå Planet. Most works are displayed in our auditorium on the 1st floor and along the walls in section 1.

Half-price admission from 7-9 PM during the summer vacation 🎟
If you buy your ticket online for our 7:00 PM timeslot, it costs only 104 DKK. That’s half the regular adult price.
❗️ The offer is valid only for tickets purchased online, and the price of 104 DKK is a flat rate applicable to both children and adults. Valid throughout the summer period from June 29 to August 31.
