It turned out to be Sille and her father Niels who, by happy coincidence, had chosen that very day for their visit. At the door, Sille was welcomed by CEO Jon Diderichsen, who surprised her with a soft toy turtle and annual passes. Thanks to a busy summer with many guests, we reached the milestone earlier than expected.
“Reaching 7 million visitors is a great joy. It shows that many people find value in what we offer. One visitor has now passed through our doors for every litre of water in the aquarium – that says something about both scale and interest. We hope the experiences our guests take with them help them appreciate the ocean and nature even more. That’s what we work for every single day,” says Jon Diderichsen.
As the guest of honour, Sille was also treated to something extra: a chance to go behind the scenes and observe the feeding of sharks and rays in the Ocean Tank.
