Summer Highlights:
🌍 Themed Talks from Around the World
Meet the sea otter from Alaska, the sloth from Costa Rica, puffins from the Faroe Islands, colorful cichlids from Tanzania, the archerfish from India, and the sea turtle from Mexico. Learn about the animals and their native countries at each exhibit – and stamp your own “travel passport” along the way.
🎭 Children’s Theatre with Plaske
Experience the world’s only talking sea otter every day at 11:00 AM in front of the outdoor sea otter habitat.
🎨 Creative Outdoor Workshop: 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM
Create shell jars and other decorations by the sandbox outside – for guests of all ages.
🐟 “Up Close” – Extra Touch Pools
Get close to Danish sea animals like crabs and flounders every day from 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM on the 1st floor.
Holiday Evening Tickets
After 7:00 PM, explore Den Blå Planet at a calmer pace – and at a special price:
Admission only DKK 99 from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
The evening program includes:
- 7:30 PM: Feeding of the giant arapaimas
- 8:00 PM: Mini guided tour with selected stories
- 8:30 PM: Indoor feeding of the sea otters

All summer, you can experience the year’s most spectacular underwater photographs – exhibited throughout the corridors and in our auditorium. Discover incredible images from the world’s oceans and see through the lenses of some of the world’s best photographers.
Den Blå Planet is the only place in Scandinavia where you can see this exhibition, which will be on display from 1 July to 31 October 2025.
