Den Blå Planet, National Aquarium Denmark, has created a sensory experience by combining the mermaid myth with an underwater show. A beloved attraction for visitors of all ages.
Half-human, half-fish—and always surrounded by mystery. Mermaids have haunted sailors for millennia. But what creatures were they really? We offer our interpretation.
Visitors can immerse themselves in the mermaid’s world as she gracefully somersaults and dances along the seabed to music. The show aims to fascinate and remind us all to cherish the precious life beneath the surface of the sea.
The experience begins in front of the Ocean Tank window at 2:00 PM.
At 2:30 PM, you can meet the mermaid at the Tropical Touch Pool. Here, you can get up close to the main character of the story and have your photo taken with her.
👉 Note: Tickets often sell out during weekends and peak seasons. Be sure to purchase tickets online in advance to secure your entry. Choose time-slot tickets for 1:00 PM or earlier, as the mermaid show starts at 2:00 PM.
