The guitar takes center stage as Jacob Fischer unfolds his most Django Reinhardt-inspired side. He is joined by American gypsy jazz specialist Jason Shooster, who has traveled the world playing Django jazz, and the brilliant Tomas Raae on double bass.

Nikolaj Hess is a prolific composer, bandleader, and producer, whose virtuoso piano playing can be heard on more than 100 albums. His latest work with Henri Matisse’s “The Red Studio” has resulted in a series of new compositions, which will be presented this evening along with jazz standards.

The concert takes place in Café Plankton and is free with paid admission. The concert is seated, so seating is limited.
