Once Upon a Sea

Once Upon a Sea

Join us on a tour through the ocean's ancient history, amongst the marine giants of the past.

During the tour, you’ll be invited behind the scenes, and back in time.

Please note: group tours are being held as normal. We keep our distance, provide masks and disinfectant gel, as well as divide groups into smaller ones when necessary.

Long before humans walked the earth, the ocean was teeming with life. From gigantic ocean lizards to bizarre creatures that don’t resemble anything we know today. The ancient oceans tell a fascinating story about the origin of life and about how our ancestors crawled up from the water, and unto the land.

The ocean’s history is our history too. It is also a story of the cataclysmic changes in the climate and environment, and what that means for the survival of species.
