Research Projects

The National Aquarium Denmark exhibits fascinating creatures from all over the world and wants to make a difference. We want to generate new knowledge and communicate our findings to guests and everyone we come into contact with.

The National Aquarium Denmark’s science and nature conservancy efforts can be described in a single sentence: “We make a difference for life in water, and we expand our knowledge about life in water.”

The National Aquarium Denmark exhibits fascinating creatures from all over the world and wants to make a difference. We want to generate new knowledge and communicate our findings to guests and everyone we come into contact with, thus setting the hearts of children and adults beating for the wonderful world of aquatic life.

We collaborate with researchers, institutions and NGOs from Denmark and abroad. The National Aquarium Denmark participates in a wide range of projects and contributes wherever our forces can be utilised to best and greatest effect.
