Horn on the forehead

The bluespine unicornfish acquired its funny name from the large horn that protrudes from its forehead and the blue barbs on the base of the tail.

Surgeonfish

The bluespine unicornfish is a surgeonfish. Surgeonfish have transformed scales on the base of the tail. They are extremely sharp and are used for defence if an enemy gets too close.
